The finished website feels true to The Original Rum Bum brand and is straightforward to use. Search basics are in place, calls to action are clear, and the buying journey is tidy from first visit to checkout. Visitors can read rum-related articles, find out what the brand is about and move straight to the product pages. Behind the scenes, the team can update products, add posts, and see what is working in analytics. Ongoing support packages are available for updates, content, and SEO, so the site keeps improving over time.
My aim was to build a site that fits how The Original Rum Bum works day to day. That meant a clean structure, plain-English copy, and product pages that explain flavour, serves, and gifting. We chose an e-commerce setup that the team could manage very easily, added clear routes to the Shop and set a content hub for interviews and press so new coverage can be published quickly.
It was a pleasure to partner with The Original Rum Bum, an independent premium rum brand with a clear, fun style and a growing audience. Selling a regulated product online brings extra steps, so the website needed to tell the brand story clearly, showcase No.1 Signature Blend and the Rum Lovers Journal, handle age checks, and make it easy for people to buy or find stockists. The brief was simple to say and hard to do: a site that looks refined, is easy to run, and turns interest into action.
